Teams MLR and HSR Had a great Friday night of Racing at Caraway Speedway with Mack finshing 2nd in the 1st race and picking up the win in the 2nd race. First time out for Pop driving the backup car finshing 5th and 3rd .

Mack qualified on the pole in the HSR Sportsman Car for the 1st 30 lapper having to start 6th making his way to a 2nd place finish. Pete Stewart started 5th driving our car in the 1st race He had a flat where he came back and finished 6th.
In the second race Mack would start 5th after the invert and with Pete Stewart driving the MLR Car starting on the pole. Pete jumped out to a early lead with Mack getting spun around in the first few laps .
Mack would regroup and make his way back through the field to take the lead away from Pete on lap 12 . Mack lead the rest of the race to take his 3rd win of season with Josh Lowder finishing 2nd and Pete finshing 3rd in our car. It was a awesome night for teams HSR and MLR . Thanks for everyones support .



 MLR had an great night at Caraway speedway. We qualified on pole. And even though we won the last race and should have started 6th, we actually started 4th. We took the lead on lap 15 and had a tight race with Josh Lowder. Even with the right front tire going flat on us we still held onto the lead and won our 2nd race of the season! Come out and support us on Friday April 30th for twin 30 lap races.


Mack scored is first win of  the year in the season opener for the Nascar Whelen Sportsman division this past Saturday at Caraway Speedway. Mack would like to thank everyone who has helped make this possible . Mack started 3rd in the season opener but was able to move to 2nd in the early laps. At the end of the race he was able to get past Tommy Neal who had been leading the majority of the race and take the 1st checkered flag of the season.  This was the 1st career win for Horace Simpson Racing
